Twice already I have commented here on #Zotero for citation management and pointed to my list of recipes and problem work-arounds. Since the powers that be at the Medical Center, University of Freiburg saw fit to change everything in our online presence, the URL has changed. I also updated the list little, here goes:

By now I've used Zotero in about 20 papers, and have gotten used to its little quirks. At the same time, I note no progress for 3 major (IMO) shortcomings: (1)no interactive control over citation style details (e.g. the "disambiguate-add-givenname" property, or the “et al.” count), (2) no advanced search in group libraries, and (3) no useful drag-and-drop.
Well, it's still nice as it is, and there's always hope…
