Wuala, the super-secure synchronisation tool, has improved enormously with the recent “Nadelhorn” release: for me it synchronizes about 10x faster than before (a 15 GB folder hierarchy). Great! However: After installing Mac OS X Yosemite, it asked for Java. Ok, I installed Java JRE 8 -- and Wuala still asked for the same. Solution: Install JDK 8 (Java development kit) rather than JRE. Now Wuala works fine again; I had touted about its advantages before: https://plus.google.com/111676285399967100912/posts/K6pxFEjL1Yv
