After weeks of poor weather, finally the day came where I could fly the FunCub for the first time. Roland checked out flightworthiness, and then it was my turn. Surprisingly, all went well, even touch down. And after the flight the model looked exactly like it did before :). Great joy!
The FunCub has much more battery drain then my experiences so far with, say, the EasyGlider or the Xenon. Haven’t yet checked out full possible flight duration. Will try with the Unisen-E telemetry sensor next to make sure there’s enough charge left before landing.
